The problems worth paying a person for are the ones a search result cannot close.
Anything somebody knows
Most marketplaces stop at languages and school subjects. This one also carries tax advice, a musical instrument, a legal question, a career decision, a craft.
Live, because that is where the value is
A recording cannot see that you are lost. A search result cannot ask what you meant. You are paying for a person’s attention, right now.
Across languages, on purpose
Knowledge does not stop at a language border. Profiles, offerings and reviews are translated, so you can find someone who does not write in your language. Their own words are always one click away.
Fair to both sides
Our commission drops as a professional completes more sessions here. Our rules are written down where both sides can read them.
What we will not do
Every one of these is enforced in the code.
We do not invent numbers
Every number on this site is a live count. When the real number is too small to mean anything, we hide the section instead of dressing it up.
We do not manufacture reviews
Only someone who paid for a seat and sat through enough of the session can leave a review.
We do not overwrite anyone's words
A translation sits on top of the original and never replaces it. Anything you read in your language, you can also read as it was written.
We do not list anybody unchecked
An unverified professional is not just missing a badge. They do not appear in search, on subject pages, or anywhere public until a person has checked their identity.
We do not measure you in order to sell you
The tables we use to count things cannot hold anything that identifies you. Not even when you are signed in.
